Volunteer with PASA!
PASA is an entirely student-volunteer run organization. PASA work -- from putting out the PASA newsletter, to maintaining this website, to developing and hosting events, to cleaning and stocking the Jernberg Lounge -- is all done by unpaid volunteers who care about supporting their fellow students and creating opportunities for student community and advocacy. There are many ways you can volunteer -- please email [email protected] to learn more and get involved. Here are just a couple of examples of ways you could contribute:
- Design and implement an event or project - If you have an idea for a cool social event, workshop, or project that would benefit the Humphrey student body, you can request funding and work with the PASA Board to implement your idea! This is enormously helpful, as the PASA Board itself has limited capacity to implement all the events and projects that would benefit the student community. If you have an idea but aren't ready to take on all of the planning duties, you can bring your idea to a PASA representative, and co-develop it.
- Event help - If you're not ready to host an event, but are willing to be "on deck" to help with hosting or prepping for events, that is a great way to support PASA.
- Operations help - We can always use volunteers interested in helping with the PASA website, with PASA social media, PASA communications, PASA meetings, and other 'operational' projects.
